The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Manager, GRC to join our GRC practice. This role is hands-on and client-facing, focused on delivering high-quality governance, risk, and compliance programs that make a real impact.
You will work directly with clients to assess, design, and uplift their security posture across a range of frameworks and maturity levels. While this is not a leadership role yet, we’re looking for someone with the potential and ambition to grow into one.
What You’ll Do
· Lead implementation of ISO27001 projects for large and mid-market clients
· Lead and deliver GRC engagements across a range of industries and organisational sizes
· Help clients improve their security frameworks, policies, and controls using standards like ISO 27001, Essential Eight, APRA CPS 234 and NIST CSF
· Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and control reviews with clear recommendations
· Support audit readiness activities and help embed compliance programs
· Design governance structures and reporting models that support informed decision-making
· Collaborate with other consultants to improve internal tools, processes, and delivery quality
· Stay up to date with changes to the regulatory landscape and emerging threats
· Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security tools and configurations
What We’re Looking For
· At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity GRC consulting
· Strong experience with ISO27001 implementation
· Strong knowledge of security frameworks, risk management principles, and control implementation
· Ability to manage and deliver work independently in a client-facing environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· A practical mindset with the ability to balance ideal standards with what works in a business context
· A desire to grow, take on more responsibility, and step into leadership over time
Nice to Have
· ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Implementer certification
· CISM, CISA or similar qualification
· Ability to advise clients on tool selection, configuration and tuning.
· Experience with DISP, IRAP, or other government compliance programs
· Exposure to variety of sectors
· Knowledge of privacy requirements, third-party risk, or industry-specific standards
· Familiarity with regulated sectors like financial services, health, or critical infrastructure
