The Role
- Undertaking policy development and research related to the building industry, including:
– the collection, collation and compilation of information.
– critical analysis and disseminating research findings to inform policy outcomes.
– developing new policy initiatives, legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Clarifying and resolving complex issues through targeted research, analysis and problem‑solving.
- Contributing to the policy and legislative development process, including preparing drafting instructions for new and amending legislation and regulations.
- Leading and facilitating engagement with internal and external stakeholders to support the development and implementation of new and amended legislation and/or policies.
