We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to join our team for an exciting project with the Ministry of Tourism (KSA). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product ownership, business analysis, and technical delivery, with the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and backlog priorities aligned with business objectives.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring prioritization based on business value.
- Work closely with development, QA, UI/UX, and project management teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from the Ministry of Tourism to ensure alignment with project goals and expectations.
- Monitor product progress, resolve blockers, and support decision-making throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure technical feasibility and support integration discussions with engineering teams.
- Conduct UAT support and validate deliverables before release.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, or Business Analyst/Product role.
- Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in managing product backlogs and writing user stories.
- Technical understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), APIs, integrations, and system architecture.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with government or large enterprise projects is a plus.
- Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, or public sector digital transformation projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
