As a Senior Program Officer in the Office of the Deputy Director-General (ODDG), Environmental Services and Regulation (ESR), you’ll ensure the smooth and effective operation of Queensland’s Environmental Regulator through coordination of executive advice, briefs and responses, managing urgent and emerging priorities, and ensuring critical work keeps moving across a complex and dynamic division.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, adapts quickly, and brings strong organisational skills, a high attention to detail and sound judgement. You’ll work across diverse subject areas from waste and mining to industry and development, while building strong relationships and contributing to meaningful outcomes for Queenslanders.

As a Senior Program Officer in the ODDG ESR, you'll play a key role in supporting executive decision-making and coordinating the division's most critical priorities.
Working closely with the Deputy Director-General, ESR's Senior Management Team and Executive Officer, you'll help ensure timely, high-quality advice and responses on complex and often emerging issues. This is a fast-paced environment where adaptability, sound judgement and attention to detail are essential.
