We are on the hunt for an experienced project leader who thrives on delivering complex property / construction projects and drives successful outcomes. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Wellington, supporting our clients through strategic project delivery, leadership, and strong stakeholder engagement.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage complex property projects from inception through to delivery, ensuring scope, time, cost, and quality targets are achieved.
- Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, and governance frameworks to ensure successful outcomes.
- Champion project discipline, reporting, and risk management.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Provide strategic input into programme-level planning, controls, and delivery frameworks.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication across all project stages and teams.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in senior project or programme management roles, ideally within the built environment, infrastructure, or property sectors.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple workstreams in high-pressure environments.
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management capability.
- Strong understand and execution of NZS contracts.
- Skilled in project management tools such as MS Project, Excel, and Procore (ideal).
- Experience working with New Zealand government agencies is highly advantageous.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
