Job Role :-
The role is mainly responsible for conducting operational and financial audits across HCT functions/campuses. The person has to identify control gaps, process weaknesses, areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions to strengthen controls, compliance, processes, and operating practices.
Job Responsibilities :-
- Audit Planning and Execution: Conduct periodic operational audits to check whether business processes are effective, efficient, and economical.
- Financial Audit and Compliance: Carry out financial audits to ensure compliance with local and international standards and identify gaps.
- Audit Reports: Prepare timely and accurate audit reports containing findings, risks, and recommended corrective actions.
- Control Improvement: Identify weaknesses in internal controls and suggest improvements to strengthen systems and procedures.
- Follow-up Action: Follow up with departments/stakeholders to ensure agreed audit recommendations are implemented.
- Coordination with Stakeholders: Work with General Counsel, Enterprise Risk Management, government audit bodies, and other departments for compliance and audit-related matters.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on laws, regulations, standards, and best practices related to operational controls.
- Team Guidance: Guide Specialists and Internal Auditors during internal audit execution, including fieldwork and reporting.
- Strategic Contribution: Support the department in achieving KPIs and align audit work with the organisation’s broader strategic goals.
- Leadership Role: Ensure subordinate objectives align with the Internal Audit Department’s strategy and provide guidance/training based on their development needs.
Qualifications :-
Minimum bachelor degree required in :
- Finance
- Economics
- Business
- Accounting
Certifications :-
Internationally recognized internal audit certification e.g. Certified Internal Auditor.
