We are seeking a skilled Social Services Specialist to work as a project consultant in our AI Labor Marketplace. This is not a full-time employment position — you will be engaged as an expert project consultant on a contract basis.
Location: U.S.-based experts only
Engagement: Part-time, 1099-engagement

Project Summary: This project evaluates how effectively AI systems provide career guidance across professional occupations. We are seeking experienced Social Services Specialists to evaluate AI-generated career guidance related to case management, community services, advocacy, public assistance programs, nonprofit careers, social impact work, and advancement within social services organizations. Contributors will assess whether AI-generated recommendations accurately reflect the realities of serving individuals, families, and communities through social service professions.
Consultant Engagement Terms:
This is a project-based consultant role. Consultants will be paid on a per-project basis; hourly rates are estimates based on anticipated completion time. Consultants control their own schedule, provide their own tools, and may simultaneously provide services to other vendors/employers (subject to those vendors’ allowances).
Responsibilities:
Contributors will:
- Create benchmark answers for social services career questions
- Develop profession-specific scoring rubrics
- Evaluate AI-generated guidance related to social services careers and advancement
- Assess recommendations involving case management, advocacy, and community support programs
- Review advice concerning nonprofit, government, and community-based career pathways
- Identify inaccurate, unrealistic, or incomplete career recommendations
- Provide written rationale supporting evaluation decisions
Expected Outcomes:
- Accurate benchmark responses reflecting social services best practices
- Consistent evaluation frameworks for career guidance assessment
- Reliable scoring of AI-generated responses
- Identification of inaccuracies related to social services careers and professional development
- Actionable expert feedback supporting AI evaluation efforts
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in social services, human services, community programs, or related fields
- Experience working directly with clients, families, or community populations
- Familiarity with social services career progression and organizational structures
- Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills
- Ability to evaluate professional guidance objectively and consistently
- Currently practicing or recently active in the field
