Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager – Solar Power to oversee and manage end-to-end solar projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, and successful delivery of solar installations while ensuring quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete lifecycle of solar projects (Rooftop / Ground-mounted)
- Plan, schedule, and execute projects within defined timelines and budgets
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams
- Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
- Handle project documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Conduct feasibility analysis, site surveys, and risk assessments
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and resource allocation
- Resolve on-site issues and provide technical guidance when required
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in solar project management
- Strong knowledge of solar systems (PV design, installation, commissioning)
- Familiarity with government policies and regulations related to solar energy
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, project management tools, and reporting
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in handling EPC solar projects
- PMP certification or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or solar design tools
