Overview:
The Sr. Pricing Specialist supports the development of competitive, financially sound pricing strategies and commercial models for enterprise technology deals. The role focuses on financial analysis, modeling, and deal support, enabling effective decision-making across complex opportunities involving SaaS, licensing, managed services, and cloud engagements.
Working closely with sales, finance, bid management, and legal teams, the analyst contributes to deal shaping, pricing optimization, and compliance, particularly for large-scale and public sector opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and implementation of pricing strategies across SaaS, subscription, licensing, and hybrid models
- Assist in financial structuring of complex deals, including system integration, managed services, and cloud engagements
- Analyze cost structures, pricing components, and margin implications to support competitive positioning
- Develop and maintain financial models, including revenue forecasts, cost breakdowns, and cash flow projections
- Build scenario analyses (best case, worst case, sensitivity models) to support deal decisions
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial assumptions and outputs
- Support RFP/RFI responses by providing pricing inputs and financial analysis
- Collaborate with sales, bid management, and finance teams to align pricing with deal strategy
- Assist in preparing client-facing commercial proposals and internal approvals
- Conduct benchmarking analysis on market pricing, competitors, and customer segments
- Provide insights to refine pricing strategies and positioning
- Track industry trends across software and digital services markets
- Ensure pricing models comply with internal policies, financial governance, and approval frameworks
- Support coordination with Finance for pricing validation and approval
- Ensure adherence to public sector procurement requirements and commercial standards
- Support contract structuring activities, including payment milestones, billing structures, and revenue recognition considerations
- Assist in evaluating commercial risks and mitigation approaches.
- Work extensively with advanced Excel models, including large datasets and scenario analysis
- Support development of dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity across pricing and deal models
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
- 4–8 years of experience in in pricing, financial analysis, or deal support roles within the technology or software industry
- Proven experience working on large enterprise deals (preferably including government/public sector engagements)
- Hands-on experience with cash flow modeling and financial statement analysis
- Experience in public sector / government contracting environments
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of software pricing models (SaaS, subscription, licensing, usage-based, enterprise agreements)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, scenario modeling, VBA/macros preferred)
- Familiarity with RFP processes, bid management, and contract negotiations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or financial planning tools
- Exposure to global markets or large-scale digital transformation programs
- Speake English and Arabic language.
