We are looking for a seasoned Stakeholder & Change Management Lead for a 12 months contract to drive adoption and readiness across a wide-ranging government procurement transformation initiative. This role is central to ensuring that diverse stakeholders — from executives to end users to supplier communities — are informed, engaged, and ready for change.
You will own the adoption narrative, lead communications strategy, and build the confidence needed for successful rollout across multiple entities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and maintain stakeholder maps across government entities and supplier communities
- Design and execute communication plans tailored to different audiences and readiness levels
- Lead change readiness assessments and develop targeted change interventions
- Manage resistance and drive adoption at executive and end-user levels
- Own the change story — ensuring consistent messaging throughout every phase of rollout
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE
- Proven stakeholder management across complex, multi-entity environments
- Strong change readiness and adoption planning expertise
- Communications design for diverse audiences including executives and frontline users
- Track record of managing resistance and embedding sustainable change
- 10+ years in change management and stakeholder engagement
ADVANTAGEOUS
- Prosci or ADKAR certification
- Experience in South African public sector transformation programmes
- Familiarity with SMME inclusion programmes and supplier community engagement
