Position: Dynamic Strategic Advisor for Effective Municipal Communications

This position blends strategic analysis and communications to fortify the Mayor’s mission. You will prepare briefing documents, monitor key community issues, and develop effective engagement tools to uphold transparent relations with the public. Your expertise in intergovernmental relations will ensure alignment with council priorities and corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft clear and actionable briefing materials for the Mayor
• Monitor and assess community concerns and external issues
• Coordinate communication flows between the Mayor and administration
• Develop speaking materials for public and media engagements
• Foster collaboration with officials and partner organizations
Requirements:
• 5 years’ relevant experience in public or executive roles
• Degree in Communications or a related field
• Ability to synthesize complex data into succinct briefings
• Working knowledge of public-sector governance
• Strong organizational skills and professional discretion
