Title: Strategic Communications Consultants
Company: Proof Strategies
Location: Washington, DC
What We're Looking For
At Proof Strategies, we believe trust is earned, and we work every day to help our clients do just that. As a “right-sized” agency, we pride ourselves on delivering senior-level counsel, hands-on partnership, and practical communications expertise without unnecessary layers or bureaucracy.
As our Washington, D.C. office continues to grow, we are always interested in connecting with thoughtful, adaptable communications professionals across a range of experience levels and backgrounds. We are open to candidates with approximately 2–10+ years of experience depending on background, expertise, and specialization.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of communications, including earned media, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, executive communications, digital campaigns, and integrated communications strategy. Some candidates may bring deeper experience in media relations or public affairs, while others may come from broader strategic communications or integrated marketing backgrounds.
We are looking for people who are sharp, collaborative, curious, and motivated by growth. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating directly with clients, adapting quickly, and operating thoughtfully in politically sensitive or fast-moving environments. Strong judgment, emotional intelligence, professionalism, and a sense of humor are just as important to us as technical communications skills.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership as part of a collaborative team that values accountability, initiative, strategic thinking, and good humor. Only candidates residing in the greater Washington, D.C. area will be considered.
