Job Overview:
Providing legal guidance to the company and business units, mitigate risks, handle legal disputes, contracts, and permits, and also overseeing legal compliance, ensuring regulatory adherence to the mining regulations and laws.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate legal functions, including legal drafting, legal opinions, legal research, and other relevant legal activities. Experience working within or advising mining companies is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Indonesia mining regulations and laws.
- Strong analytical skills to assess legal issues and risk mitigation.
- Strong negotiation skills for handling contracts and legal disputes.
- Excellent communication ability to directly liaise with external parties, the government, or any relevant regulators.
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
- Willingness to adapt to remote or challenging working environments as required.
- Willing to be placed in and travel to remote working areas.
