About the Role
A growing aerospace and defense manufacturer is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst / Planner-Buyer to support production by managing material planning, purchasing, and supplier performance. This role partners with operations, engineering, quality, and finance to ensure materials are available on time, inventory is optimized, and procurement activities meet government regulations.

Key Responsibility
- Plan and procure materials using ERP/MRP systems to support production schedule.
- Monitor inventory levels, material shortages, and supplier deliveries to minimize disruptions.
- Create reports and analyze supply chain data, including inventory, forecasting, lead times, and supplier performance.
- Maintain purchasing records and ensure compliance with government regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and ITAR.
- Manage purchase orders, obtain supplier quotes, and expedite critical materials when needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve planning processes, reduce costs, and strengthen supplier relationships.
- Support audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives through accurate data management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, planning, or procurement.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills; Power BI experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of government contracting regulations (FAR, DFARS, ITAR) is preferred.
- APICS/ASCM (CPIM or CSCP) certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple departments.
- Must be eligible to work as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR requirements.
