About the Role
Onyxes Technologies Ltd. is an ICT company delivering multi-project infrastructure solutions across enterprise and government sectors. We're looking for a System Administrator to ensure the stability, performance, and security of IT systems across our client environments — someone who can own operations end-to-end and grow into a senior technical contributor.
What You'll Do
- Administer and maintain servers, virtualization platforms (Sangfor HCI / VMware / Hyper-V), and storage arrays.
- Manage Veeam backup jobs, repositories, and disaster recovery runbooks; conduct regular restore tests.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server roles.
- Manage SQL Server instances: backup, maintenance plans, and access control.
- Deploy and maintain endpoint fleets: imaging, MDM enrollment, asset tracking, and software packaging.
- Configure security settings, access permissions, and endpoint protection across managed environments.
- Develop PowerShell scripts to automate routine administration and reporting tasks.
- Monitor infrastructure health via SolarWinds; respond to alerts within defined SLAs.
- Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides; enforce change control.
- Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams; mentor junior staff.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field — required. Master's preferred.
Experience
- 4–7 years of hands-on system administration in enterprise or government environments.
- Strong background in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Proven experience with server virtualization (Sangfor HCI, VMware, or Hyper-V).
- Hands-on with Veeam B&R including DR planning and recovery testing.
- Experience with enterprise storage administration (SAN, LUN management, RAID, multipath).
- Scripting skills — PowerShell required; Python or Bash a plus.
- Intermediate data center networking knowledge (VLANs, switching, storage networking).
