Position Overview

NourNet is seeking a Senior System Administrator to join our team in Amman, Jordan. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing Microsoft infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise collaboration services. This role requires strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, cloud administration, and enterprise systems to ensure the availability, security, and performance of mission-critical IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure.
  • Manage and support Microsoft Azure services and cloud resources.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related collaboration platforms.
  • Manage Office 365 tenant administration, licensing, and user provisioning.
  • Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Exchange Services, including hybrid environments.
  • Manage and maintain secure Email Gateway solutions.
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity services.
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Plan and execute cloud migration and hybrid cloud deployment projects.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security while proactively resolving issues.
  • Implement system hardening, patch management, backup, and disaster recovery best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide effective technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver infrastructure improvements and new technology initiatives.
  • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator within enterprise IT environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office 365 administration.
  • Strong experience managing Exchange Server/Exchange Online and Email Gateway solutions.
  • Solid expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Experience with cloud migration projects and hybrid cloud implementations is highly desirable.
  • Microsoft certifications (Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, or related) are highly preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse technical teams and business units.
