Role Description

We are looking for a full-time System Administrator to join our on-site team in Amman. The System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting issues, providing technical support, and ensuring network reliability. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, security, and functionality of systems and network infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in System Administration, with experience in maintaining and managing server environments and operating systems
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity and infrastructure management.
  • Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for diagnosing and resolving system and user issues
  • Experience in Network Administration and managing network configurations, firewalls, and security measures
  • Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, backup systems, and incident response.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage firewalls, endpoint security systems, Active Directory, and backup solutions.
  • Monitor security alerts and coordinate incident response with the cybersecurity team.
  • Apply security patches, updates, and firmware upgrades to servers and network devices.
  • Oversee and verify backup procedures to maintain data integrity and ensure recovery readiness.
  • Conduct log reviews, configuration audits, and access control inspections.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity efforts across various locations.
  • Generate monthly security and compliance reports.
  • Assist with integrating new security monitoring tools.
