The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing installation, configuration and troubleshooting our SR series VHF/HF radios to resolve our customers' technical issues. He will support the customer by acting as the liaison between the customer and other internal teams. His ability to work in complex networking environment will also make him an ideal candidate
Your tasks
- Responsible for installation of SR Radio system as per system layout & design
- Responsible for configuration of system
- Responsible for upgradation of firmware/ software
- Carry out pre-acceptance test procedures on systems prior to delivery
- Site surveys and preparation of its reports
- On site testing, repair/ maintenance of equipment and systems during warranty period
- Liaison with customers for system related activity
- Contribute in pre- design review meetings with the sales & customers
- Able to write technical documents under supervision
Your Qualifications
- Technical Diploma/ degree in Electronics/ Electrical or Communications Engineering
- Knowledge of satellite and GSM communication will be an advantage
- 7+ years of technical support experience with military radios
- Customer service oriented
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong language skills in English
