About the Job:
To oversee governance and compliance activities related to equipment management, maintenance programs,
contractor services, and operational standards across assigned locations. The role ensures that company
assets are properly maintained inspections are completed, contractor obligations are fulfilled, and corrective
actions are effectively implemented.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Governance and Compliance
· Conduct routine inspections of workshops, service centers, facilities, equipment, and operational areas within assigned locations.
· Verify compliance with company policies, procedures, technical standards, manufacturer requirements, and operational controls.
· Identify, document, and report non-compliances, deficiencies, and areas requiring improvement.
· Monitor and verify the closure of inspection findings and corrective actions.
· Maintain compliance records, inspection reports, action trackers, and supporting documentation. · Support internal audits, management reviews, and compliance assessments.
· Provide guidance and awareness to employees on company requirements, inspection findings, compliance expectations, and governance controls relevant to their areas of responsibility.
- Equipment and Maintenance Management
· Monitor the condition, operational readiness, and compliance status of workshop equipment, tools, machinery, and assets.
· Ensure preventive maintenance activities are planned and completed according to approved schedules. · Verify that corrective maintenance activities are completed effectively and within required timelines.
· Review maintenance records, service reports, equipment certifications, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
· Maintain a register of equipment inspections, maintenance activities, certifications, warranties, and service history.
· Report equipment defects, recurring failures, and technical concerns requiring management attention.
· Support the development of maintenance awareness by coaching equipment users and supervisors on basic equipment care, inspection requirements, reporting procedures, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Contractor Management
· Act as the focal point for contractors responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, calibration, testing, certification, and servicing of company equipment.
· Coordinate maintenance schedules between contractors and operational departments.
· Attend contractor visits and verify that work is completed according to contractual requirements and applicable standards.
· Review contractor service reports and ensure recommendations are properly addressed.
· Monitor contractor performance, service quality, response times, and compliance with contractual obligations.
· Follow up on outstanding maintenance actions and contractor commitments until completion.
· Escalate contractor performance issues, delays, or non-compliance when required.
- Reporting and Coordination
· Prepare inspection reports, compliance summaries, and maintenance status reports.
· Coordinate with Workshop Managers, Service Managers, Procurement, HSE personnel, and other stakeholders regarding compliance and maintenance matters.
· Escalate significant findings that may impact safety, operations, asset reliability, or regulatory compliance.
· Support the implementation of governance, compliance, and asset management initiatives across assigned locations.
· Perform other related duties assigned by management within the scope of the role.
Internal Communications:
Regular interaction with the Technical Inspector, Workshop Managers, Supervisors, Procurement, HSE personnel, and other operational and administrative departments to coordinate compliance, maintenance activities, inspections, and corrective actions.
Job Requirements:
Educational Level/ Required Certificates:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Certifications:
· Preventive Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Training.
· Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Training.
· Lifting Equipment Inspection Training.
· Vehicle Lift Inspection Training.
· Hydraulic Systems Maintenance and Inspection Training.
· Contractor Management Training.
· Quality Management System Internal Auditor Training (ISO 9001).
Experience:
· Minimum 3 years of experience in technical inspections, workshop operations, equipment maintenance,
fleet maintenance, or a related technical role
.
· Experience in coordinating and monitoring maintenance contractors and service providers
.
· Experience in equipment inspections, preventive maintenance programs, and maintenance record
management
.
· Experience in reviewing technical reports, maintenance documentation, and equipment certifications
.
· Experience in automotive, industrial, facilities management, construction, or similar operational
environments is preferred.
