The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Test Lead to support a Melbourne-based delivery program.
This role will suit someone who can lead testing across system testing, integration testing, compatibility testing, regression testing, UAT support, vendor coordination, and production verification testing.
You’ll be responsible for test planning, governance, defect triage, test reporting, and ensuring strong test coverage across user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead test planning based on testing type and risk assessment
- Prepare and maintain key test artefacts, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, test evidence, and test summary reports
- Plan, prepare, and oversee execution of testing activities across the delivery lifecycle
- Lead testing across:
- System testing
- Integration testing
- Compatibility testing
- Regression testing
- Ensure test coverage across user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Lead defect management, including triage, prioritisation, retesting, and reporting
- Use Azure DevOps and related tools to manage test activities and reporting
- Support vendors with penetration testing and accessibility testing activities
- Support business stakeholders through UAT and Production Verification Testing
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies and support delivery planning
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Test Lead in enterprise or government environments
- Strong experience preparing test plans based on risk and testing type
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience with testing tools or extensions such as:
- BrowserStack
- Test & Feedback
- Strong experience across:
- System testing
- Integration testing
- Compatibility testing
- Regression testing
- UAT support
- Production Verification Testing
- Experience leading defect triage and test results reporting
- Experience coordinating with vendors for penetration testing and accessibility testing
- Strong understanding of agile delivery environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
