CRNCY Group, through its Quickstop brand, is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as Managing Director for Barbados.
📍 Location: Barbados
💼 Position: Managing Director
💰 Compensation: USD $130,000 Base Salary + Benefits + Significant Bonus
As the senior in-country leader, you will be responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, profitability, and strategic execution across the Barbados market. Reporting directly to the Group COO, you will play a key role in connecting local operations with our centralized corporate functions while leading the next phase of expansion and market development.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Lead country-level strategy, growth, and overall P&L performance.
✔ Drive expansion of Quickstop’s retail footprint through branch growth and market development initiatives.
✔ Build and maintain relationships with regulators, banking partners, government agencies, and key stakeholders.
✔ Lead and develop high-performing teams across sales, branch operations, and customer-facing functions.
✔ Partner closely with Marketing, Credit, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives.
✔ Identify market opportunities and implement strategies that drive sustainable growth and profitability.
Qualifications
✔ Bachelor’s degree required.
✔ 5+ years of executive or senior leadership experience in financial services, fintech, retail operations, or a related industry.
✔ Proven experience leading business growth, operational performance, and market expansion initiatives.
✔ Strong understanding of sales leadership, customer-facing operations, and branch management.
✔ Experience in start-ups, scaling businesses, or multi-location operations is highly desirable.
✔ Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
