We are seeking a strategic leader to drive tourism policy development and sustainability initiatives that position Abu Dhabi as a globally competitive and environmentally responsible hub.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of tourism policies aligned with national strategies.
- Drive sustainability frameworks across the tourism sector, including climate resilience and responsible tourism practices.
- Oversee research, benchmarking, and impact analysis to inform decision-making.
- Engage with government entities, industry leaders, and international organizations to advance sustainable tourism.
- Lead and inspire a team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Environmental Studies, Tourism, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8–10 years of experience in tourism policy, regulatory affairs, or sustainability strategy (3–4 years in leadership).
- Proven track record in policy development, sustainability initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- Preference for candidates with knowledge of global sustainability frameworks.
