Town Manager
Town of Montverde, FL
Set among rolling hills of central Florida on the western shore of stunning Lake Apopka, Montverde is one of Florida’s hidden treasures. While it is only 30 minutes west of Orlando, it could not be more different. The town is a quiet place where residents are friendly and relish their small town atmosphere and tranquility; they are content with the lack of traffic, waterfront vistas, fresh air, and open spaces. It is simply a wonderful place to live, work, and play.
Montverde is seeking a high caliber, achievement oriented leader who can guide the organization with confidence in both the near and long term. The successful candidate will be a true professional in demeanor, in conduct, and in appearance – who earns trust through consistency, integrity, and sound judgment. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to the Town Council, partnering with its members to shape strategies that enhance the quality of life for residents and businesses alike.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, public policy or a related field, and at least five to ten years of increasingly responsible experience as a senior level government director. A master’s degree or ICMA credentialing is preferred.
The salary range is $120,000 to $160,000 and the salary will depend on qualifications and experience. Benefits are excellent. To apply, e-mail your resume and cover letter to [email protected] by July 3rd. Questions should be directed to Scott Krim at (801) 628-8364 and then Colin Baenziger at (561) 707-3537.
