Position: Training Specialist (Emergency Management
Enhance operational safety through training with SGS in Calgary. Seeking a dedicated Training Specialist with a strong background in emergency management for impactful training sessions.

Safety, SGS is looking for an experienced Training Specialist to develop and evaluate emergency response training. You will ensure training compliance with industry standards and regulations while providing hands-on, interactive training experiences. This role requires excellent communication skills and a minimum of 5 years in safety training or emergency management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop training manuals and presentations for diverse audiences

• Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions

• Conduct emergency drills to assess client preparedness

• Provide detailed evaluations and improvement suggestions

• Assist clients in maintaining compliance and necessary certifications
Requirements:

• Advanced education in Emergency Management or related area

• 5+ years experience in safety training or emergency response

• Clean Class 5 driver’s license and minimal violations

• Knowledge of emergency response regulations and standards

• Ability to travel to deliver training across Alberta
