Objective
The Transport Coordinator supports the transport operations of the chemical disposal / logistics hubs at ASMO. They assist in coordinating the movement of materials, managing transportation resources, and ensuring compliance with regulations and delivery schedules.
General Responsibilities
- Assist the Transport Supervisor in coordinating transport operations, including vehicle dispatch, routing, and tracking.
- Schedule and allocate transportation resources to meet delivery requirements.
- Communicate with drivers and transport providers to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Monitor and track transport operations to ensure on-time delivery.
- Resolve any issues or delays in transport operations and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transport activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma is required.
- Certifications related to supply chain management preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English.
- 0-2 years’ experience in similar or related field.
