🎯 The Role
We are seeking an Urban Planner / City Planner / Development Specialist to support urban planning, land use analysis, development projects, and policy initiatives that contribute to the growth and transformation of urban environments.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about city development, sustainability, infrastructure planning, and community-focused solutions within a collaborative hybrid work environment.
🚀 Key ResponsibilitiesUrban Planning & Development
- Conduct urban planning studies, land use assessments, and development analyses
- Support the preparation of master plans, development frameworks, and planning proposals
- Evaluate development applications, zoning considerations, and planning requirements
- Contribute to sustainable urban growth and infrastructure planning initiatives
Research & Policy Analysis
- Analyze demographic, economic, environmental, and transportation data
- Conduct research on urban development trends, planning policies, and regulatory frameworks
- Prepare reports, presentations, and policy recommendations for stakeholders
- Support planning reviews and strategic development initiatives
Stakeholder Engagement & Project Coordination
- Collaborate with government agencies, consultants, developers, and community stakeholders
- Participate in public engagement activities, workshops, and consultation sessions
- Coordinate planning projects and monitor project progress against objectives
- Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders
Sustainability & Smart City Initiatives
- Support sustainability, environmental, and smart city development programs
- Evaluate the impact of development projects on communities and infrastructure
- Contribute to initiatives focused on mobility, green spaces, resilience, and urban innovation
- Promote best practices in sustainable and integrated planning
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, City Planning, Architecture, Geography, Environmental Planning, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Public Policy, or a related field
- 1–5 years of experience in urban planning, development planning, land use planning, infrastructure planning, policy analysis, or related areas
- Understanding of urban development principles, planning regulations, and land use frameworks
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, presentation, and stakeholder communication abilities
- Experience with GIS, spatial analysis tools, AutoCAD, planning software, or data visualization platforms is an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Strong attention to detail and project coordination skills
- Experience working with government agencies, planning consultancies, developers, or infrastructure organizations is a plus
- Membership or eligibility for professional planning associations is advantageous
