Plug and Play Japan is seeking a Government & Municipality Program Manager (Manager Candidate) to lead the Government Team and advance Japan's startup ecosystem through collaboration with government agencies and municipalities.
Responsibilities
- Manage domestic startups' international expansion and foreign startups' Japan market entry
- Coordinate overseas exhibitions, pitch events, and stakeholder networking
- Provide hands-on support including venture-government matching and pitch refinement
- Develop new business opportunities through proposal creation and stakeholder engagement
- Balance public policy objectives with business outcomes
