This is an opportunity to take part in real hands-on work, combining finance, entrepreneurship, and regional impact, while helping grow an innovation ecosystem in Eilat.
About the Role
A multidisciplinary role combining financial work, startup support, and exposure to the investment and innovation ecosystem.
The role includes direct work with early-stage ventures and entrepreneurs, alongside financial and operational responsibilities at the Innovation Center.
Key Responsibilities – Finance & Operations
- Budget monitoring and control for the Center and its ventures
- Preparation of financial reports, performance reports, and cash flow reports
- Work with bookkeeping, suppliers, and funding bodies
- Support in building budgets and annual work plans
- Support in reporting to public entities, partners, and government programs
- Tracking KPIs and performance indicators
Key Responsibilities – Venture Support
- Supporting entrepreneurs in building business plans
- Building financial models and forecasts
- Conducting market research and analyzing business opportunities
- Supporting the preparation of investor materials and investment meeting decks
- Participating in due diligence processes
- Ongoing work with Pre-Seed and Seed-stage startups
Key Responsibilities – Ecosystem & Innovation
- Working with partners from industry, academia, and the investment ecosystem
- Participating in innovation events, panels, and accelerator programs
- Supporting the development of new activities at the Innovation Center
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, or a related field
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with numbers and financial models
- Familiarity with the startup and innovation ecosystem
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- High level of English proficiency
- Full proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools
Significant Advantage
- Experience working with startups or venture capital funds
- Experience in building business and financial models
- Familiarity with fundraising processes
- Experience working with public sector entities or innovation programs
