Cyber Security Practice Head (US)
Role Summary
The Cyber Security Practice Leader is responsible for defining, building, and scaling the organization’s cybersecurity practice. This role drives strategic direction, develops service offerings, ensures delivery excellence, and supports business growth through cybersecurity solutions aligned with global standards and emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities
1. Practice Leadership & Strategy
• Define and execute the cybersecurity practice vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Build differentiated cybersecurity offerings (e.g., risk, compliance, cloud security, AI security, SOC)
• Align cybersecurity strategy with business objectives and expansion plans
2. Business Growth & Pre-Sales
• Support sales teams with solutioning, proposals, and client presentations
• Drive revenue growth and pipeline development for cybersecurity services
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on cyber maturity, transformation, and risk posture
3. Service Delivery & Excellence
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity engagements
• Ensure high-quality execution of services such as:
o Cyber maturity assessments
o Security architecture & design
o Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
o Security operations (SOC, SIEM, MDR)
• Define and track KPIs, SLAs, and delivery standards
4. Capability Building
• Build and mentor a high-performing cybersecurity team
• Develop competency frameworks, training programs, and certifications
• Drive adoption of tools, accelerators, and reusable frameworks (toolkits)
5. Innovation & Thought Leadership
• Lead innovation in areas such as:
o AI-driven security
o Zero Trust architecture
o Cloud & DevSecOps security
• Publish whitepapers, case studies, and represent the organization in industry forums
6. Governance & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to global security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
• Guide organizations in achieving certifications and regulatory compliance
• Establish internal security best practices and policies
7. Stakeholder Management
• Engage with senior leadership, clients, and partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Manage vendor and partner ecosystem

Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong expertise in cybersecurity domains (network, cloud, application, data security)
• Deep understanding of frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, Zero Trust)
• Experience in building and scaling cybersecurity practices
• Strong business acumen and client-facing skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Relevant certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor

Experience
• 12–18+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles
• Proven experience in pre-sales, solutioning, and large program delivery
• Experience working with US clients and compliance requirements
