Responsibilities
- Lead the overall execution of the thermal power plant project, ensuring timely delivery within
budget and quality parameters.
- Oversee the commissioning process and ensure seamless handover to the operations team
upon project completion.
- Manage the optimization of the project, including finalization of plot, design, and balance of
plant to maximize efficiency and output.
- Implement advanced technological initiatives to improve operational efficiency and value
generation for the thermal project.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government
agencies, contractors, and local communities, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor and manage project risks, ensuring proactive mitigation strategies are in place.
- Drive adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project
lifecycle.
- Provide strategic leadership to the project team, fostering a culture of accountability,
innovation, and excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with the broader objectives of
the Adani Group’s thermal power business.
- Ensure effective resource allocation and utilization to achieve project milestones and
deliverables.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record of 25+ years in large-scale thermal power plant project execution and
management.
- Extensive experience in commissioning, optimization, and handover of power plant projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, including government agencies,
contractors, and local communities.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Master’s degree in Project Management or Business Administration (preferred).
