As the Director of Strategic Partnerships & Marketing, you will be responsible for planning and executing the company’s marketing, branding, and external partnership strategies. You will support BE Health’s cross-border business expansion and strategic partnership initiatives, drive organizational business development, and ensure continuous enhancement of the company’s brand image, market positioning, and industry influence.
This role will work closely with senior management, business units, and the Taiwan and Japan teams to oversee domestic and international marketing strategies, brand management, government and corporate partnerships, venture capital and industry partner relationships, and investor relations. The goal is to create sustainable business opportunities and brand value for the company.
Key Responsibilities
1. Department Goal Management and Team Leadership
- Develop annual strategies, objectives, key performance indicators, and execution plans for the Strategic Partnerships & Marketing department.
- Lead teams in Taiwan and Japan to ensure effective cross-regional project collaboration, resource allocation, and execution quality.
- Oversee team recruitment, training, task assignment, performance tracking, and capability building.
- Establish departmental workflows, project management mechanisms, and cross-functional communication practices to improve execution efficiency.
- Regularly report departmental progress, partnership outcomes, brand performance, and market opportunities to company management.
2. Marketing Communications and Event Management
- Plan the company’s overall marketing and market competition strategies for Taiwan, Japan, and other international markets.
- Coordinate with business unit leaders on target markets, customer segmentation, value propositions, and promotional activities.
- Oversee marketing and communications channels including the company website, social media, newsletters, events, media relations, exhibitions, and international forums.
- Plan and execute domestic and international brand events, industry networking events, partner events, and accelerator program-related activities.
- Track marketing performance and market feedback, using data analysis to optimize content, event design, and resource allocation.
- Support business development needs by preparing presentations, proposals, case studies, brand materials, and market expansion tools.
3. Corporate Strategic Partnerships
- Build and maintain partnerships with government agencies, healthcare institutions, corporations, venture capital funds, accelerators, industry associations, and international organizations.
- Lead or support the negotiation, planning, execution, and follow-up relationship management of key strategic partnership projects.
- Identify external resources, grant programs, commercial opportunities, and cross-border collaboration projects to support business development.
- Represent the company when needed in external meetings, business negotiations, industry events, or public presentations.
- Support the company in expanding its strategic partner network and business footprint across Taiwan, Japan, and other Asian markets.
- Facilitate cross-functional, cross-border, and cross-industry collaboration opportunities, converting external resources into executable business outcomes.
4. Brand Management and Brand Building
- Establish and manage the company’s overall brand positioning, brand identity, brand messaging, and communications strategy.
- Plan brand architecture and positioning strategies for different business lines, projects, sub-brands, and cross-border markets.
- Ensure brand consistency across all external communication channels, including presentations, websites, social media, events, media exposure, partnership proposals, and official documents.
- Collaborate with internal and external design, content, public relations, and marketing partners to enhance brand professionalism, recognition, and international image.
- Build a brand asset management system, including brand guidelines, standard materials, case study databases, and external communication templates.
- Strengthen BE Health’s leadership position in healthcare innovation and Asian market expansion through content strategy, industry perspectives, event curation, and partnership case studies.
5. International Market Expansion and Investor Relations
- Plan and drive the company’s international market expansion strategy, supporting the development of partnership networks and business opportunities in Japan and other key Asian markets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with overseas government agencies, healthcare institutions, corporations, venture capital funds, accelerators, industry associations, and strategic partners.
- Identify overseas market needs, industry trends, partnership opportunities, and potential customers, and translate external resources into executable business development plans.
- Maintain and expand relationships with fund LPs, investors, and key resource partners, providing regular updates on company development, investment activities, project outcomes, and collaboration opportunities.
- Plan LP communication and relationship management mechanisms, including periodic reports, networking events, project updates, investor meetings, and strategic partnership discussions.
- Help the company build closer strategic connections with LPs, venture capital funds, corporate venture arms, and international investment institutions to create potential investment, partnership, and market expansion opportunities.
- Represent the company when needed in overseas meetings, business visits, industry events, or investor engagements to enhance international visibility and collaboration opportunities.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, branding, public relations, business development, strategic partnerships, or ecosystem development, including at least 3 years of team management experience.
- Experience in cross-functional project management and multi-stakeholder coordination.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, integrated marketing, event planning, content marketing, corporate partnerships, and partner management.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to connect brand and partnership strategies to business growth objectives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, proposal writing, and business negotiation skills in both Chinese and English.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-changing startup environment, with strong initiative, execution, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven capabilities in team leadership, talent development, goal management, and performance tracking.
