Desjardins’ Capital Markets’ (“DCM”) Investment Banking Group is looking to add a real estate Analyst to its Toronto team. The real estate investment banking team is active within the public and private space, with involvement in several recent public marquee transactions.
DCM’s integrated capital markets team operates out of Toronto, Montréal, Calgary and Vancouver and delivers tailored financial solutions to corporations, institutions and government agencies across Canada. This team fosters an entrepreneurial culture in which experienced and highly motivated professionals cooperate to address clients’ capital markets needs and corporate objectives. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Assist in developing proposals to clients and potential clients for equity and debt placements, mergers, asset or company divestitures or acquisitions, and other financial products and advisory services
- Prepare financial modeling, mainly focusing on valuation work through comparable company analysis, discounted cash flow analysis and other metrics as appropriate
- Prepare Quantitative and qualitative data analysis and industry research
- Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for use in client meetings
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Engineering or other related fields OR Current enrollment or completion of the CFA program
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
