Job Description / Responsibility

We recruit across various verticals for multinational corporations as well as leading business houses of the country.
NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post of Assistant Manager for Grant Thornton Bangladesh.
Grant Thornton Bangladesh, member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd. (GTIL), is looking for aspiring professionals to fill in vacancies in its Project Advisory Department. At Grant Thornton Bangladesh, you will be given the opportunity to grow with us and as a professional in your line of expertise. The aspirant would be trained using the renowned GTIL Assurance methodology using the automated tools/software.
Business Development & Client Relationship Management
- Identify new business opportunities in consulting, PPP, infrastructure, ESG, and advisory sectors.
- Develop and maintain pipelines of prospective projects and clients.
- Build strategic relationships with government agencies, development partners, investors, and private sector stakeholders.
- Lead consortium formation with local and international partners for large-scale assignments.
- Prepare Expressions of Interest (EOI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and technical/financial proposals.
Project Management & Implementation
- Manage consulting assignments from inception to completion, ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and technical experts.
- Monitor project progress, deliverables, budgets, and reporting requirements.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.
Strategy, Research & Advisory
- Conduct market research, sector studies, policy reviews, and investment analysis.
- Develop strategic recommendations for clients on business growth, operational efficiency, and investment readiness.
- Prepare presentations, reports, concept notes, and management briefings.
Sustainability, ESG & Climate Advisory
- Support clients in sustainability reporting, ESG strategy development, and carbon accounting initiatives.
- Liaise with certification bodies, development organizations, and corporate stakeholders.
- Design resilience, climate adaptation, and green growth initiatives.
Financial & Commercial Analysis (optional)
- Assist in preparing financial models for infrastructure and investment projects.
- Review project assumptions, revenue projections, CAPEX/OPEX estimates, and funding structures.
- Support pricing strategy, valuation, and commercial negotiations.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- B.SC in Engineering / Urban and Regional Planning (URP) Or Relevant to job responsibilities.
Experience Requirements
- At least 4 year(s)
