Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Auditor with professional certification such as Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants SOCPA or CPA to evaluate financial records, internal controls, compliance processes, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to regulatory standards, identify risks, and provide recommendations for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal/external audit assignments according to approved audit plans.
- Review financial statements, accounting records, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Identify audit findings, control weaknesses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
- Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations.
- Assist in fraud investigations and special audits when required.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification:
- SOCPA or CPA (mandatory/preferred).
- 3–8 years of auditing experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
- IFRS
- Internal controls
- Risk assessment
- Compliance & governance
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Preferred Background
- Big 4 experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory environments and audit standards.
