Job Summary
The Business Development & Strategic Growth Manager is responsible for driving sustainable growth, diversification, market expansion, strategic partnerships, investment development, and revenue generation across all subsidiaries and business units of the Group.
The role serves as the commercial growth engine of the Group and is responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, developing, and executing new business opportunities in sectors including Real Estate Development, Local and International Trade, Agro-processing, Manufacturing, Export Development, and Strategic Investments.
The position requires a commercially astute and entrepreneurial professional capable of transforming ideas into profitable ventures, building strategic relationships, securing investment opportunities, developing new markets, and supporting the Abans long-term growth ambitions.
The role acts as a strategic advisor on growth opportunities, investment decisions, acquisitions, partnerships, and expansion initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Corporate Growth Strategy & Expansion
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Abans’s business development and growth strategy.
- Identify new business opportunities aligned with the Abans's strategic objectives.
- Conduct market assessments to identify emerging sectors and industries.
- Recommend diversification opportunities across existing and new sectors.
- Identify expansion opportunities throughout the Abans’s operating regions
- Support in evaluating strategic investments and acquisitions.
- Develop annual and multi-year growth roadmaps for the Group.

2. New Business Development & Venture Creation
Responsibilities
- Lead the identification and development of new businesses and subsidiaries.
- Evaluate commercial opportunities through market research and feasibility assessments.
- Develop business models and commercialization strategies.
- Structure and negotiate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances.
- Develop new revenue streams for the Group.
- Drive business incubation and venture development initiatives.

3. International Business Development & Export Expansion
Responsibilities
- Develop international markets for the Group's products and services.
- Identify and engage international buyers, distributors, importers, and strategic partners.
- Lead participation in trade missions, trade fairs, exhibitions, and business forums.
- Develop export market entry strategies.
- Establish strategic relationships with export promotion agencies and trade organizations.
- Negotiate export contracts and strategic supply agreements.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Mandatory:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, International Business, Marketing, Management, Agriculture, Real Estate, or related discipline.
