Beit Midrash Oz (“Oz”) is an inclusive house of Jewish learning. Oz exists because much of the depth of Jewish culture—its classical texts, thinkers, debates, ethical traditions and learning practices—remains inaccessible to many people, including the majority of the Jewish community.
Oz is entering an exciting new phase of growth as it builds a sustainable, professionally governed and enduring institution that welcomes people of all backgrounds into a vibrant culture of Jewish learning.
About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to help shape one of Australia's most exciting emerging Jewish organisations.
The next chapter for Oz will require stronger operational foundations, diversified funding, expanded partnerships and organisational leadership capable of translating vision into long-term sustainability.
This is not a conventional operational management role—it is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial and community-minded leader to help build a unique and emerging organisation with significant long-term potential and impact.
About You
- Experience securing and growing revenue through diverse fundraising streams, including philanthropy, government grants, corporate partnerships and community fundraising.
- Experience within community, cultural, educational or not-for-profit organisations.
- Ability to influence, engage and manage stakeholders at a senior level.
- A commitment to Oz's mission to foster a vibrant, intellectually rigorous and inclusive environment that promotes Jewish literacy and deep engagement with Jewish culture.
