Role Description
This is a rare chance for an ambitious student leader to run an actual organization — not just intern at one. You'll work directly with a Board that includes a former presidential candidate and leaders who worked at CNN, the Gates Foundation, and the NBA. If you've already been the president of something and you're hungry for more, this is your next move.
We need a student leader who can elevate the TOGETHER! vision and platform to the next level. You'll own everything from strategy to partnerships and help shape what TOGETHER! becomes. Responsibilities include driving sales and fundraising, leading strategy, and managing high-level partnerships. The CEO will also represent the organization publicly and advocate for its values and goals.

What You'll Own:
Membership
- Lead campus-based outreach starting in the DMV region and expanding nationally
- Build and manage a campus ambassador program at priority universities
- Drive member acquisition and make sure members get real career networking value
Partnerships & Event Curation
- Secure key partnerships — scholarships, exclusive events, career networking, civic experiences
- Curate and publish local and campus calendars that keep members engaged month to month
Brand & Communications
- Own TOGETHER!'s voice on social media and in the world
- Drive marketing efforts that grow followers, and convert followers into paying members
- Represent TOGETHER! at events, partner meetings, and TV interviews
Operations & Platform
- Work with our tech team to keep the membership experience sharp and conversion-optimized
- Track what's working, report to the Board quarterly, and adjust fast
Fundraising & External Relations
- Co-lead outreach to sponsors, donors, impact investors, and aligned partners
- Help build the funding pipeline that sustains and scales the organization
What We're Looking For:
You might be a great fit if you have:
- 2–3 years of work and/or leadership experience — student government, a campus org, a startup, a nonprofit, a campaign, or anything where you had to make things happen with limited resources
- A track record of growing something — a club, an event series, a social following, a community
- Strong communication skills, both written and in person
- Genuine passion for Gen Z and Millenial civic engagement, entrepreneurship, or social impact
- Comfort with ambiguity — this role requires initiative, not a playbook
- Junior, Senior or Masters student at Georgetown, George Washington, American or Howard preferred
Bonus points for:
- Expertise within the DC/Virginia/Maryland region (e.g., know existing campus or community networks)
- Familiarity with membership and/or community platforms
- Background in digital marketing, social media, communications, or partnership development
Compensation:
- Monthly stiped, commensurate with experience
