Job Description

Strategy

  • Lead the development and enhancement of event strategies, participation frameworks, and engagement approaches to support RTA’s corporate objectives, reputation, and stakeholder outreach priorities.
  • Provide specialized advice on major events, international exhibitions, leadership engagements, and strategic participations, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and brand positioning.
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks, policies, standards, approval mechanisms, and operating models for event management across RTA.
  • Lead benchmarking and market intelligence activities to identify emerging trends, innovative event concepts, hospitality practices, and engagement approaches applicable to RTA.
  • Advise leadership on event portfolios, sponsorship opportunities, strategic partnerships, and participation plans to maximize organizational impact and visibility.
  • Establish event performance frameworks, success measures, and value realization approaches to assess the contribution of events to organizational objectives.

Operations

  • Plan and provide oversight for high-profile RTA events, exhibitions, ceremonies, project launches, media engagements, official delegations, and strategic corporate activities.
  • Direct coordination with internal stakeholders, government entities, international organizations, event agencies, vendors, sponsors, and strategic partners to ensure seamless delivery of event objectives.
  • Oversee development of event concepts, exhibition designs, hospitality programs, visitor experiences, and engagement activities to ensure alignment with RTA standards and objectives.
  • Review and approve event plans, budgets, procurement requirements, schedules, risk assessments, and operational readiness activities for major events and participations.
  • Lead management of strategic event vendors and service providers, ensuring quality, contractual compliance, and achievement of expected outcomes.
  • Oversee preparation and quality assurance of event-related materials, corporate gifts, media assets, promotional content, and stakeholder engagement collateral.
  • Guide management of protocol requirements, VIP engagements, official visits, and leadership participation to ensure adherence to governmental and organizational standards.
  • Resolve complex operational issues, stakeholder concerns, and event-related risks, providing direction to ensure successful delivery of event activities.

Product / Process Improvement

  • Lead evaluation of event effectiveness through analysis of stakeholder feedback, media coverage, participation metrics, audience engagement, and return on investment indicators.
  • Develop and enhance methodologies, tools, and dashboards for measuring event performance, sponsorship value, stakeholder reach, and organizational impact.
  • Recommend and implement innovative event formats, digital engagement solutions, immersive technologies, and audience experience enhancements to strengthen event outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize event planning processes, governance practices, resource utilization, and stakeholder experiences across RTA.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of event standards, templates, operational procedures, and governance controls to ensure alignment with evolving organizational needs and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree/ Master’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Event Management, Business Management
  • 11+ years in case of master’s degree (9+ years in case of bachelor’s degree) in related field
  • Expertise in brand identity management and brand consistency
  • Experience in budget preparation and financial planning
  • Skilled in planning, executing, and evaluating marketing campaigns
  • Strong media relations and corporate communication capabilities
  • Proficiency in project management and cross-functional coordination
  • Experience in public event planning and protocol management
  • Understanding of the organization’s business context and operations
  • Ability to manage community engagement and CSR initiatives
  • Skilled in content development and communication management
  • Experience in internal logistics coordination for events and campaigns
  • Knowledge of marketing, commercial, and pricing management strategies
  • Proficiency in social media management and online engagement
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration capabilities
