Legal.io is working with a leading technology company to bring on a Compliance & Ethics Business & Regulatory Investigations Attorney. This is a 3 month contract with potential to extend. This position is fully remote.
Scope of Work
Title: Compliance & Ethics Business & Regulatory Investigations Attorney

Hours: 40 Hours / Week
Duration: 3 Months (From 7/1/2026)
Pay Rate: $90 – $110 / hr ($180,000 – $220,000 annualized)

Job Description
- Attorney will be managed by in-house attorney with occasional interaction with business stakeholders. Attorney will conduct interviews of internal personnel.
- The candidate will be working cross-functionally with various teams internally. This person should be able to work independently with little hand holding. A self-starter is a must.
- Conduct and support compliance misconduct investigations, managing document review, conducting interview, writing reports of investigation.
Qualifications
- Active bar license
- At least five (5) years of legal practice.
- JD from a top 50 US law school or equivalent non-US legal studies program, at least five years of experience practicing law at an Amlaw 200 law firm.
- At least five (5) years of experience with internal investigations focused on policy compliance and government investigations.
- 5 years of combined experience performing/leading internal investigations focused on compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and other anticorruption/antibribery statutes at an Amlaw 200 law firm and/or Fortune 50 publicly-traded company.
- Experience conducting internal investigations for an in-house client from drafting investigation plan through drafting a report of investigation.
- Experience conducting investigation interviews and email/document review and sharing investigation outcomes with corporate stakeholders.
