An established infrastructure consultancy is looking to bring on a Contract Coordinator to support the delivery of major infrastructure and capital projects across the Newcastle and Hunter region.
This opportunity would suit someone who has started building experience within procurement, contracts administration, project coordination or commercial support and is looking to continue developing their career within a structured and high-performing environment.
The business works across large-scale infrastructure, utilities and government-related projects, offering long-term career development and exposure to complex project delivery environments.
The Role
Working closely with senior commercial and project stakeholders, you will support procurement and commercial activities across multiple projects.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting procurement and commercial processes across infrastructure projects
- Assisting with tender and contract administration activities
- Coordinating supplier and subcontractor documentation
- Supporting reporting, evaluations and commercial recommendations
- Assisting with contract variations and commercial records management
- Working closely with project delivery and commercial teams
- Supporting governance, compliance and procurement procedures
- Maintaining accurate project and commercial documentation
- Assisting with supplier and contract performance tracking
About You
We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds including procurement, commercial support, contracts administration, project coordination or infrastructure delivery support.
You may currently be working as a:
- Commercial Coordinator
- Procurement Officer
- Contracts Administrator
- Commercial Administrator
- Project Coordinator
- Procurement Coordinator
- Project Support Officer
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- 3–5 years experience within a commercial, procurement or project environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong administration and coordination capability
- Exposure to contracts, procurement or infrastructure projects
- A proactive and team-focused approach
Experience within infrastructure, utilities, construction, engineering or government environments will be highly regarded.
