Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architecture to design, develop, and implement comprehensive security architectures and frameworks to safeguard.
Accountabilities and Key Roles:
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive security architectures and frameworks to safeguard the organization's digital assets in line with secure by design principles.
- Evaluate IT security threats / needs and develop, design, recommend effective counter measures.
- Collaborate effectively with the Cybersecurity Architecture Manager and other stakeholders to ensure security initiatives align with business goals.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats and security technologies adoption on cloud and on premises to continuously improve defensive strategies.
- Develop and uphold security policies, procedures, and best practices to steer the organization's overall security efforts.
- Handle the end-to-end delivery of security related projects (i.e Zero trust, IAM, SIEM/SOAR, Cloud security) including scope, timeline and deliverables implementation and roll out.
- Prepare comprehensive security reports and documentation for management review.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with an emphasis on architecture and design, preferably within the banking sector
Competencies:
- Proficient understanding of threat modeling methodologies and security frameworks and standards such as SABSA, ISO 27001, NIST, or TOGAF.
- Certifications such as CEH or GIAC are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
