Position: City Development Engineer Role
Make a difference as a Development Engineer with the City of Cambridge’s Strategic Plan. Engage in technical reviews, project management, and community interactions to foster growth.
In this pivotal role, you will report to the Manager of Development Engineering and contribute to various municipal infrastructure projects. A background in Civil Engineering with four years of related experience is essential. You’ll manage Environmental Assessments and subdivision agreements, working alongside multiple departments and agencies for cohesive project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical comments on site plans and subdivisions
• Project manage Environmental Assessments and capital infrastructure
• Assist in drafting Subdivision Agreements and related consultations
• Engage with the community at public and council meetings
• Address public development inquiries effectively
Requirements:
• Minimum four years of experience in municipal development
• Familiarity with engineering software applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Valid driver’s license is mandatory
• Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering is required
Lead impactful municipal projects and contribute to the vision of the City of Cambridge.
