We are partnered with a well-established organization in the healthcare and social services sector that is expanding its leadership team. We are currently hiring experienced Directors across multiple functions.

The Director, Communications & Partnerships will lead the organization's communications strategy, stakeholder engagement, outreach initiatives, and strategic partnership development. This individual will be responsible for strengthening the organization's brand, enhancing internal and external communications, and building long-term partnerships across government agencies, healthcare providers, community organizations, and other key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong people management capabilities, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to translate organizational priorities into impactful communication and partnership initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organization's communications strategy aligned with business objectives and mission.
  • Strengthen corporate branding, reputation, and public profile.
  • Provide strategic communications counsel to senior leadership.
  • Lead corporate communications, media engagement, publications, campaigns, and key messaging.
  • Ensure consistency across all internal and external communication channels.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Communications team.
  • Identify capability gaps and recommend improvements in structure, resources, and tools.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, healthcare institutions, community organizations, and industry partners.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities that support organizational objectives.
  • Develop sustainable partnership and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Lead outreach initiatives that strengthen community engagement and organizational visibility.
  • Oversee corporate content across websites, social media, newsletters, annual reports, and other communication platforms.
  • Monitor communication effectiveness and continuously improve engagement strategies.
  • Manage external agencies, consultants, and communications vendors.
  • Oversee procurement and vendor governance where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in Communications, Corporate Affairs, Public Relations, Stakeholder Engagement, Partnerships, or related functions.
  • Previous experience leading teams and managing senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build strategic partnerships across government, healthcare, community, or public sector organizations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Experience within healthcare, social services, non-profit, public sector, or community care organizations is highly advantageous.
