Position: Emergency Communications Dispatcher II (Public Safety)
The City of Santa Clara Police Department is seeking a Public Safety Dispatcher to handle dispatching for police, fire and EMS. Under general supervision, the dispatcher answers calls, analyzes information, and dispatches units accordingly, with related duties as needed.
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and a CA POST Public Safety Dispatcher Basic certificate; MPDS certification is required before probation ends. Previous CAD/radio experience is highly valued.
