Position: Emergency Management Coordinator Role
Take charge as an Emergency Management Coordinator, developing crucial programs and delivering training to ensure community readiness in crises. Engage with various departments and external partners for effective emergency response.

This role focuses on implementing emergency management initiatives and compliance with regulations. You will assist in delivering training, act as a subject matter expert, and liaise with external stakeholders to enhance awareness. Responsibilities include leading debriefs post-emergencies and involving in safety incident investigations when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement emergency management programs

• Deliver training sessions and exercises for stakeholders

• Liaise with external agencies for enhanced planning

• Lead debriefs and documentation after emergencies

• Manage inventory of emergency supplies

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in emergency management

• Diploma or Certificate in Emergency Management required

• Knowledge of disaster risk reduction practices

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required

• Experience in training delivery is a plus
