Role Description
The Facilities Manager will oversee daily operations, maintenance, and safety of facilities to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with regulations. This full-time, on-site position is based in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing facility operations, coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring equipment functionality, and fostering effective communication with stakeholders to meet organizational needs.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Facility Management (FM) and Facilities Operations to ensure smooth operation and compliance with standards.
- Strong Supervisory Skills, with experience in leading, coordinating, and motivating facility teams.
- Expertise in Equipment Maintenance, including the ability to oversee repairs and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Exceptional Communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, vendors, and organizational leadership.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance related to facility operations.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex projects under deadlines.
- Experience in government contracting or a similar environment is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in facility management or related fields preferred.
