The Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resource to lead and strengthen our Human Resources function.
Reporting to the General Secretary, the successful candidate will play a key leadership role in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with FABD's organisational goals. We are looking for a people-focused HR professional with strong leadership capabilities who can contribute to building a positive, effective and high-performing workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Human Resources strategies aligned with FABD's organisational goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic HR advice and support to senior management.
- Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and HR administration.
- Lead recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain qualified employees.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and organisational guidelines.
- Manage employee performance appraisal systems and support the effective implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Develop staff training and development programmes to strengthen employee capabilities.
- Oversee employee relations, including grievances, disciplinary matters and conflict resolution.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and strengthen employee engagement.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning and talent management initiatives.
- Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports to support management decision-making.
- Lead and develop the HR team to ensure the effective delivery of HR services.
- Support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in a senior leadership or management position.
- Experience working with senior management and providing strategic HR advice.
- Experience within a football association or similar organisational environment is an advantage.
