About the Role

People are our greatest asset, and caring for their health, safety, and well-being is both a responsibility and a calling. We are looking for a Company Nurse and Safety Officer who sees beyond compliance — someone who believes that creating a safe workplace and caring for employees reflects genuine service and stewardship.

If you are passionate about occupational health, workplace safety, and helping people thrive at work, this role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary healthcare services and immediate medical assistance to employees
  • Manage employee medical records and ensure compliance with occupational health regulations
  • Monitor employee health trends and recommend wellness initiatives that promote preventive care
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of workplace safety programs and policies
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE, OSH, and other applicable government regulations
  • Facilitate safety orientations, emergency preparedness programs, and health and safety training
  • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions
  • Coordinate with government agencies, healthcare providers, and external partners on health and safety matters
  • Promote a culture where every employee takes ownership of health, safety, and well-being
  • Partner with leaders across functions to embed safety and wellness into daily operations

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with a valid PRC license
  • Certified Safety Officer with the appropriate DOLE-accredited Safety Officer certification
  • At least 3 years of experience in occupational health, company nursing, workplace safety, or a related field
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or industrial environments preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor, health, and safety regulations
  • Experience implementing workplace health and safety programs and compliance initiatives

Required Skills

  • Values-driven: you believe that caring for people goes beyond compliance and reflects genuine stewardship
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies
  • Highly organized with strong documentation and reporting skills

Preferred Skills

  • You see workplace health and safety as a ministry of service, not merely an administrative function
  • You have successfully led safety culture initiatives that improved employee engagement and compliance
  • You are comfortable influencing leaders and employees across all levels of the organization
  • You have experience using digital tools or systems to improve health and safety reporting and monitoring
  • You are passionate about employee wellness and preventive healthcare programs
