The Role
As the Investigations Manager you will form part of a dynamic team responsible for leading complex and sensitive investigations into suspected breaches of legislation, conducting detailed analysis of financial and other evidence, and undertaking high-level compliance activities.
- Lead and conduct complex investigations into possible contraventions of the legislation administered by the Directorate.
- Analyse large amounts of complex documents, including accounting and financial documents.
- Identify unlawful behaviour and support enforcement actions.
- Undertake high level compliance activities with entities in which the Department's position is presented and advocated, including in complex retirement village and associations matters.
- Provide well-founded recommendations to senior management and the Commissioner.
