2. About the Opportunity:

The Cloud IT Support Specialist role supports mission-critical cloud and infrastructure environments for the Defense Logistics Agency. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering IT support services including system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training. The role ensures system availability, performance, and security while maintaining compliance with Department of Defense cybersecurity policies and standards. It plays a key role in incident response and collaborates with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to maintain secure and reliable service delivery.

3. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues from customer-reported incidents and service requests

• Plan and analyze IT support workflows to enhance efficiency and service quality

• Research and report on incident trends and system performance for continuous improvement

• Maintain problem tracking databases and knowledge repositories

• Develop technical documentation and conduct training for users and support staff

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals

• Perform system backup, restoration, and recovery operations

• Consult with users to identify system requirements and recommend solutions

• Conduct feasibility studies and alternatives analyses for technical decision-making

• Prepare business cases and technical justifications for system improvements

• Ensure compliance with DoD and DLA information security and cybersecurity policies

• Support adherence to RMF, NIST, and related DoD cybersecurity standards

4. Requirements:

• Six years of progressive experience in Information Processing including supporting DoD IT hosting solutions

• Three years specialized in Information Processing with hardware/software solutions

• Two years hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, and user training

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance required

• Certifications totaling at least three, with one from each category below:

– IA Level: IAT-II certification such as CCNA Security, CySA+, CISSP (or Associate), Security+ CE, or equivalent

– Cloud certification such as Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Google Professional Cloud Architect

– Additional certification such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Red Hat Certified Engineer, or similar

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• $75,000 to $85,000 annually plus benefits, 401k, and matching
